We buy your high value children's items (up front payment, not consignment). 

Our buying price is 33% of our selling price. E.g. if we price something at $20 in our store, you will receive $6.60. We still donate 7% of the sale to E Fry Ottawa.

Buying is by appointment only, various hours Wed to Sat. Please book HERE

Drop off your items and receive your offer about an hour later by text. Bins/remaining items must be picked up by 5 p.m. that day. Payments will be made by e-transfer.

Items must be clean and laid flat in rigid containers or reusable bag (no plastic bags please); 2 bins/large bags maximum per appointment. This is a firm limit due to time.

You are not obligated to accept our offer.

We welcome donations of items we do not purchase. These may be sold at a lower price, stain-treated/washed if necessary, or passed on to another local organization/thrift store.

Current Buying List

Please note that the vast majority of items for sale in our shop have been donated and we have to be selective about what we purchase.

Season: FALL/WINTER clothes, including Christmas or holiday prints. We are buying costumes until 18th October 18th and winter outerwear/boots until 15th December.

Condition: minimal signs of wear/unworn/with tags 

Sizes: newborn to youth 18, adult items from brands and styles appealing to pre/teens, mostly athleisure.

Outerwear: lightweight jackets, fleece bunting suits, puffer vests and jackets, thermal base layers, snow suits and winter accessories

Footwear: winter boots, ankle boots, rain boots, running shoes, dress shoes

Toys: most brands in excellent condition, but especially eco-brands, wood toys & puzzles, small shop, and building sets (Lego, Magnatiles, etc). Please tape boxes with small parts/puzzle pieces and confirm that all parts are present.

Books: we only purchase hardback or board books in like new condition but love to accept donations.

Baby gear: strollers, baby bouncers, carriers, sleep sacks. No safety or feeding equipment please (e.g. breast pumps, bottles helmets, car seats) due to safety regulations for resellers. 

For strollers, please let us know the brand, year of manufacture, and any damage you know of. If you are unsure of a large item, please send an email with details to hello@fabrickcollective.ca
