how to donate

Fabrick Collective accepts donations of clean, gently used children's clothing, any season, any brand, any size, from smoke-free homes. 30% of profits are in turn donated to the Elizabeth Fry Society of Ottawa to furnish and decorate their transitional housing for women leaving incarceration so that it feels more like home. To date we have raised $26 000! Schedule your contactless pick-up!
Additional items we DO accept:
Kids' footwear, outerwear, costumes, sleep sacks, and blankets, high-quality baby gear in clean and excellent condition (such as diaper bags and stroller covers). We accept children's books and toys in excellent condition with all parts included.
Items we do NOT currently accept:
Adult clothing
Underwear and socks (unless new with tags)
Safety items (e.g. walkers, high chairs, helmets, car seats, baby seats)
Most large, bulky baby gear due to space constraints (although feel free to check in advance by email about your items or if you have something special to donate).
Items that cannot be sold will be donated to Value Village or to community swap events.
We will gladly pick up your donation if you live in Ottawa/Gatineau!
Donations are collected every Sunday morning between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Book your free pick-up here!

Please note we are not accepting women's clothing donations for the drop-in centre at E Fry Ottawa at this time. I recommend donating your adult clothes to Thrive Select Thrift located at 1547 Merivale Rd Unit 3 who donate profits to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ottawa and run youth employment programs at their store. It is easy to drop off your bags to their back entrance or in one of their community bins.

Thank you so much for finding out how to make a difference to women in our community.
